Ito Leads Frisco to Win
|
In a well-pitched game between the Frisco Rams and the Rock River Rats, pitcher Yasuhiko Ito was superb. The Frisco left-hander was named the player of the game in Frisco's 2-0 win. Shih-k'ai Mi closed it out for his 7th save. Rock River, at 64-33, has lost 4 straight.
Ito, who dominated for Frisco, earned the victory to move to 4-1. He was in control the whole game, scattering 2 hits over 7 innings, while striking out 5. Rock River batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.
"For the most part, I stayed out of the middle of the plate," Ito said.
