Storm Troopers Beat Snaps, 6-3
|
The San Antonio Storm Troopers picked up a win at The Studio, knocking off the Cincinnati Snaps, 6-3. On the mound for San Antonio was left-hander Brad Ross, who played a pivotal role in the win. John Welch notched his 20th save in 27 chances. The Storm Troopers improve their record to 37-55 with the win over Cincinnati.
One of the key players for the Storm Troopers was center fielder Marty Sella, who drilled a run-scoring triple in the top of the fourth inning. For the game, Sella went 1-4 with a triple.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Sella said after the game.
