Lights Top Enforcers, 5-1
|
Phoenix starter Nicolas Dupuis put a stranglehold on the Atlantic City offense. The right-hander had complete command of his forkball in leading the Lights to a 5-1 win. Getting the save was Paul Murat, his 4th. With the win, Phoenix has a record of 49-48. Atlantic City falls to 45-49.
It could have been a different outcome for Phoenix, had it not been for Lúcio Sánchez, the speedster . Sánchez contributed a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to put Phoenix up, 3-0.
"Nicolas did a tremendous job," said Phoenix manager Michael Barnett.
