New York got a terrific performance from pitcher Jérémy Thomas, but it wasn't enough to beat the Sandy Springs Spartans. Sandy Springs won the Confucius Field contest, 7-2. Thomas was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He threw 6 innings of 3-hit ball. Sandy Springs now sits in 5th place in the Bob Moose League Bruce Bochy Division at 43-50.
