The Boise Hawks topped the Silicon Valley Hackers, 4-3, in Cory Lidle League action at San Jose Municipal Stadium. The player of the game was Boise pitcher and Southampton, England native Eddie MacClung. The Hawks raised their record to 47-45.
Boise took a 4-3 lead on José Rodríguez's 11th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Rodríguez hit in the top of the tenth, left Silicon Valley pitcher Willie Fierro visibly frustrated.
