Bulldogs Get Past Sandy Springs for 5-4 Win
Spokane Bulldogs starter Cris Ayala was in fine form against the Sandy Springs Spartans at The Kennel, leading his team to a 5-4 win. Spokane reliever Perry Detrick picked up the win, upping his record to 4-1. Tom Polk absorbed the loss. The Bulldogs improve their record to 45-47 with the win over Sandy Springs.

Kendrick MacAulay was the walk-off hero for Spokane. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Bulldogs first baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

MacAulay described the clubhouse as "kind of rowdy" after the game.
