Beetlecats Continue Skid Thanks to Sanders, Monarchs
|
Marysville left fielder Doug Sanders had a 4-RBI performance, which helped his team grab a 8-5 win over the Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats. The save went to Jim Unknown, his 1st this season. The last-place Beetlecats have dropped 4 straight games.
Sanders provided the big break for the Monarchs in the bottom of the fourth inning. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, he hit a 2-run single, helping Marysville to get the win.
"Feels good to get the job done," Sanders said after the game.
