Cincinnati pitcher Diego Castro gave the Wolverines all they could handle, but in the end, Wichita left The Studio with a 6-5 win. Castro allowed 2 earned runs on 4 hits over 5.2 innings. Pedro Galló picked up the save for Wichita, his 26th of the year. The Wolverines move to 51-41 with the win, while the Snaps drop to 41-51.
Willis Pierce, who is tied for 8th in the FFL in doubles with 21, helped out the Wichita cause in the top of the seventh inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the first baseman went 1-4 with a walk.
