Wichita pitcher Luis Hernández did his part in helping his team beat the Cincinnati Snaps, 4-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Wichita reliever Pedro Galló picked up the win, bumping his record to 3-1. Armando Hernández was collared with the loss. The Wolverines raised their record to 50-41.

The most critical at-bat came in the top of the tenth inning. With two out, Bob Wright hit a 2-0 fastball from Armando Hernández for a run-scoring double. It put Wichita in front, 4-3.

"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Wright said.
