Hellcats Cut Down Hackers, 9-5
|
Rob Leibbrandt did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Silicon Valley Hackers from losing, 9-5, to the Jacksonville Hellcats at Hellcats Park. Leibbrandt was 3-5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. Earning his 9th save for Jacksonville was Roberto Mejía. Jacksonville has now won 3 straight, while the Hackers have lost 3 in a row.
Graig Lightheart was one of the major contributors to the win for Jacksonville. The light-hitting center fielder stroked a home run to left in the bottom of the fifth inning. For the day, he went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once.
"Winning never gets old," said Lightheart.
