The Brew Stade was rocking after an exciting Hops win today.
The San Diego Hops outlasted the Seattle Sasquatch, 7-6, in 14 innings. Nadir Rizvi led the way, going 3-for-7 for San Diego. Zong-yuan Sang got credit for the win, improving to 2-2. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 4 innings.
Rizvi had the big at-bat for San Diego. With two out in the bottom of the 14th inning, he hit a walk-off run-scoring single, giving San Diego the 7-6 win.
"I like our resilience," said Rizvi.
With the victory, the Hops record now stands at 21-21.
