The Madison Beehive eked out a 5-4 win versus the Cincinnati Snaps at The Hive. Nobody did more than pitcher César González, who captured player of the game honors. González got the win, improving to 6-7. He allowed 8 hits and walked 3 over 5.1 innings. González allowed 4 earned runs. Madison now owns a record of 32-58.
Also having an impact was second baseman Rich Burnes, who stroked a run-scoring single in the bottom of the fourth for Madison. For the game, Burnes went 2 for 4 with 2 singles.
