Losing Streak Continues for Monarchs with 2-1 Loss to Shamrocks

Another game, another loss for the struggling Marysville Monarchs.
Jesús Díaz was in top form in a low-scoring contest between Pacifica and Marysville. The Shamrocks left-hander was named the player of the game in Pacifica's 2-1 win. Marysville has now lost 8 straight.
In the top of the sixth inning, Ernie Horswill went deep for the Shamrocks. With Pacifica leading 1-0, he drilled a solo home run.
"We're our own worst enemy right now," said Marysville skipper Jorge Magana.
