Bloomington Blazers starter Rubén Cabrera was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Vancouver Pioneers, 5-3. Bloomington occupies 4th place in the Thurman Munson League Billy Martin Division at 21-20.

One important at-bat came with runners on 1st and 2nd in the top of the seventh inning. Facing Vancouver hurler Mitsuharu Shionoya, Hiyutaro Ushijima hit a run-scoring single. The Blazers went on to win.

"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Ushijima told the Bloomington Herald.
