The first-place Pacifica Shamrocks picked up another win at McCormick Field.

Starting pitcher Gabriel Fajardo pitched well enough to help the Pacifica Shamrocks beat the Phoenix Lights by the score of 6-3. The Shamrocks have an impressive 51-31 record.

The Shamrocks got a big boost from pinch hitter Pablo Bermúdez who had a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the eighth inning off Lights hurler Jorge Ramírez. It was his 16th walk of the season and put Pacifica on top, 4-3.

"Enjoyed this one," Bermúdez told the Pacifica Daily News. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
