Mustang center fielder Lee Cong put his stamp on his team's 11-6 win over the Cincinnati Snaps. Cong went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for Carson City in the contest. Carson City reliever Yoshimochi Chikuda picked up the win to move to 4-0. Octávio Pérez suffered the loss. The Mustang now have a mark of 47-35.

The Mustang got a big at-bat from catcher Phil Parker. For the game, Parker was 1-4. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the second, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run single. His 56th hit of the season gave Carson City a 2-0 lead.

"I like our moxie," said Mustang manager Nobuharu Chikafuji.
