Late Rally Gets Win for Hackers
The Silicon Valley Hackers turned back the Spokane Bulldogs, 7-6, at The Kennel. Keith Hawley was named player of the game for his fine performance. He went 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, a walk, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 3 runs. The 'W' lifts Silicon Valley's record to 34-47.

The most critical at-bat came in the top of the ninth inning. With two out, Gerben van der Molen hit a 1-0 cutter from Joseph Drury for a run-scoring single. It put Silicon Valley in front, 7-6.

"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said Spokane manager Chris Carpenter. "The effort was great."
