Victory Pushes Cornhuskers Record to 40-38
|
The DeKalb Cornhuskers racked up a win at The Corn Crib, bumping off the Phoenix Lights, 4-1. Morihiro Hashimoto, who started for DeKalb, pitched effectively for his team. The winning pitcher was Hashimoto, now 4-3. He tossed 7 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 9. After today's action, DeKalb sits at 40-38, while Phoenix falls to 42-40.
