The Pacifica Shamrocks got a good effort from starter Gabriel Fajardo in defeating the Madison Beehive at The Hive. The final score was 4-2. Pacifica has run its win streak to 4 in a row.
The Shamrocks got a big at-bat from left fielder Yasusaburo Sato. For the game, Sato was 2-5 with 2 doubles. He drove in 2 runs. In the top of the fifth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run double. His 11th double of the season gave Pacifica a 4-2 lead.
"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Pacifica manager Joe Leftwich. "It's usually not just one thing."
