It was a good time at The Kennel, where fans came to watch the Silicon Valley Hackers and Spokane Bulldogs get after it.
The Spokane Bulldogs got a stellar performance from pitcher Cris Ayala, who handcuffed the Silicon Valley offense en route to a 5-2 win at The Kennel. In 5 innings, Ayala surrendered 5 hits, while striking out 9 and walking 2. He allowed 1 run.
Doing his part for Spokane was third baseman Kerry Hood, who stroked a 2-run single in the bottom of the second. For the game, Hood was 1 for 4. He drove in 2 runs.
