The Cincinnati Snaps topped the Frisco Rams, 2-1, in Bob Moose League action at Outlander Park. The player of the game was Cincinnati pitcher and Nogata, Japan native Naganori Sakaguchi. Cincinnati reliever Armando Hernández was credited with the win, to go to 2-1. Moos Teunisse took the loss for Frisco. The Snaps saw their record improve to 36-41.

Neither team could produce runs. So, Bill Kremer's at-bat in the top of the eighth was critical. With one out, the Cincinnati catcher hit a solo home run, to give his team a 2-1 lead.

"We were in it," said Frisco manager Rafael Castillo. "We just didn't score enough runs."
