The Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats beat the Riverside Red Bulls, 6-2, at Bloomfield Road. Juan Cruz was recognized as player of the game for his performance. He went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The 23-year old catcher was a menace to Riverside all day. Buzzard's Bay now has a 6-game win streak.

Cruz had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the bottom of the third inning, when he hit a 2-run single. The Beetlecats went on to win.
