Canseco Leads Charge, Sandy Springs Blasts Storm Troopers

The Sandy Springs Spartans had no problem beating the San Antonio Storm Troopers, 16-3, at The Clone Army. Reynaldo Canseco led the way. He was 3-4 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs and drove in 5 for Sandy Springs. The winner was Sandy Springs reliever Drew Coffin, now 4-1. The loser was Hirotami Asada. Sandy Springs is now 31-42, San Antonio 26-45.
Canseco had a big at-bat with runners on 1st and 3rd in the top of the seventh inning, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Spartans went on to win.
"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Canseco.
