Rats Win Again, Streak Now at 10
|
The Rock River Rats got a magnificent effort from pitcher Adam Lewis, who kept Carson City hitters in check en route to a 3-1 Rats win at Cowboys Stadium. This win makes it 10 in a row for Rock River.
Rock River right fielder Tucker Slade went deep in the top of the fifth. His solo home run off Carson City pitcher Tony Gutiérrez put the Rats in front, 1-0. It was his 5th home run of the season.
"We'll keep riding this wave as long as we can," said Rats manager Hervé Barthélémy.
