Vallery, Hackers Rough Up Lights
|
The Silicon Valley Hackers clobbered the Phoenix Lights, 12-3, at UFO Field today. Silicon Valley third baseman Lance Vallery was named player of the game for his productive day. He went 3 for 5 with a home run, 2 singles, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 times and driving in 5. With the win over Phoenix, the Hackers improved to 31-40.
Vallery contributed a productive at-bat in the top of the sixth. With runners on 1st and 3rd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was one at-bat among others that helped Silicon Valley get the win.
"It all depends on which version of our team shows up," said Vallery. "When we put it all together, I think we're a great team."
