Hackers Best Lights in Pitching Duel
|
In a tight game between the Phoenix Lights and the Silicon Valley Hackers, nobody was more important for the winners than Giichiro Dunn. Dunn, who received player of the game accolades for the Hackers, was masterful in the 2-1 win. The Hackers saw their win-loss record go to 30-40. At the same time, the Lights fell to 36-37.
Also pitching in was Silicon Valley third baseman Lance Vallery, who hammered a solo home run in the top of the sixth. For the game, Vallery went 1 for 4 with a home run.
"I just try to bring what I bring to this team," said Vallery.
