Tornadoes Drop Another One
The Oklahoma City Prowlers beat the Kansas City Tornadoes, 8-3, at Memorial Circle Park. The Prowlers got a fine performance from center fielder Hisamitsu Kondo, who captured player of the game honors. He went 3 for 4 with 3 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Jacob Willard, who went 8.1 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 3 runs on 8 hits, while walking 5 and striking out 6. His record now stands at 1-0. The Tornadoes have now dropped 5 straight.

With one out in the bottom of the sixth, Xiao-wei Wang hit a go-ahead run-scoring double. It was his 8th double of the season and with it the Prowlers took a 4-3 lead.

When asked about his performance after the game, Kondo said: "Like everyone else, I'm just doing my job."
