Late Rally by Lights Secures Win
|
Phoenix Lights starter Nicolas Dupuis was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Jacksonville Hellcats, 4-2. Phoenix reliever Grégoire Maillet was the winner. His record is now 2-1. Noriaki Ine took the loss. Paul Murat sewed up the save, his 2nd.
Lúcio Sánchez was one of the major contributors to the win for Phoenix. The light-hitting third baseman stroked a single to left in the top of the eighth inning. For the day, he went 1 for 4.
"Anytime I can help the team, I feel good about it," said Dupuis.
Phoenix now owns a record of 35-36.
