Benner, now 3-6, was the winner. In 6.1 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 3, walking 2, and allowing 2 earned runs. Phoenix has now lost 4 straight.
Tae-kyun Hong played a key role in the win for the Hellcats. The third baseman punched a 3-run home run in the bottom of the second inning. For the game, Hong was 2-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.
Hong told the Jacksonville Today: "I don't know which I enjoy more -- being a ballplayer or the perks that come with being a ballplayer."
