Ninjas Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Spartans
The New York Ninjas faced a tough opponent in Sandy Springs pitcher Ryunosuke Chikafuji, but did just enough to pull out the victory at The Coliseum by a final score of 6-4. Chikafuji went 6 innings and allowed 1 earned run. The Ninjas improve their record to 29-35 with the win over Sandy Springs.

The contest featured some late-game dramatics from New York pinch hitter Shi-fu Goei. In the top of the eighth inning, with one out and the bases loaded, Goei hit a sacrifice fly to help New York seize the win.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Goei.
