Nakashima Helps Cincinnati Cruise to 10-3 Win
|
The Cincinnati Snaps coasted to a win over the San Antonio Storm Troopers, 10-3. Yodo Nakashima had a good day at the plate for Cincinnati. He went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 3 runs and drove in 5. Cincinnati reliever Lenny Tremlett picked up the win, upping his record to 1-5. Brad Ross was saddled with the loss. Cincinnati occupies 4th place in the Bob Moose League Jim Leyland Division at 28-37.
Nakashima contributed when he hit a 3-run home run in the top of the sixth. Coming with one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, the home run proved to be critical to helping Cincinnati get the win.
"We maximized our offense today," said Cincinnati skipper Bryan Powell. "That makes everyone's life easier."
