Enforcers Prevail, 6-4, Over Pacifica

The Atlantic City Enforcers beat the Pacifica Shamrocks, 6-4, at McCormick Field. Atlantic City third baseman Tim Mathews earned player of the game honors with an outstanding performance. He was 1-3 with a home run and was hit by a pitch, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Vincente Herrera picked up the save, his 1st. Atlantic City is now 30-32. Pacifica is 35-27.
Benjamin Melsome was a prime factor in the win for the Enforcers. In the top of the fifth with two out, the 25-year old shortstop hit a 2-run single. He was 1-5. He drove in 2 runs.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Mathews.
