Benefiting from Raúl Cortéz's productive game, the Spokane Bulldogs downed the Sandy Springs Spartans, 6-4. Cortéz went 2-2 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Bulldogs. Spokane reliever Sonny Denton picked up the win, upping his record to 3-1. Kyoji Kato absorbed the loss.
