Youngstown right-hander Dominic Smith helped his team edge Riverside by the score of 2-1. Smith kept the opposing lineup in check. Youngstown is now 33-26.
Micah Lee took Héctor González deep in the bottom of the fourth. His solo home run put the Tune-Ups in front, 2-1. For the game, Lee went 1 for 3 with a home run.
"We scored one run," said Riverside manager Tim Duncan. "You're not gonna get a lot of Ws scoring just one run."
