Aces Stumble, Lose to Islanders

The Hawaii Islanders powered past the Columbus Aces, 8-4, at Central Park Downtown Stadium. Douglas Dannattet went 2-4 with a home run. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4, to lead the charge. Hawaii starter Rodrigo Garza was credited with the win after throwing 114 pitches over 8 innings. His record now stands at 4-2. Hawaii now has a 3-game win streak.
One significant plate appearance for Hawaii came with no one out in the top of the second inning. Islanders second baseman Victor Rocher drew a walk, driving in 1 run, which helped Hawaii go on to win.
"I still think this team has room for improvement," Rocher told the Hawaii Times.
