Hackers Pick Up 5-3 Win
|
Silicon Valley starter António Domínguez pitched effectively against the Jacksonville Hellcats at San Jose Municipal Stadium. The right-hander led his team to a 5-3 win. Willie Fierro finished to wrap up his 10th save. The win puts the Hackers at 25-32, while the Hellcats drop to 22-35.
Tae-kyun Hong had a chance to do some damage in the top of the ninth. With Jacksonville trailing 5-2, Jacksonville had runners on 2nd and 3rd. Hong grounded out, driving in 1 run. But it was not enough. Jacksonville would not finish the comeback.
