The Phoenix Lights had no problem beating the Marysville Monarchs, 11-2, at Mitts Fieldhouse. Fred Nagy led the way. He went 2-4 with 2 singles and 2 walks, while scoring 5 times for Phoenix. Mauro Rodríguez, the winner, improved to 3-1. He held Marysville to 2 earned runs on 6 hits over 6 innings, while racking up 8 strikeouts. Phoenix is now 30-27, while Marysville is 29-27.
