Bassett, Enforcers Too Much for Beetlecats
The Atlantic City Enforcers met little resistance from the Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats, beating them 12-3 at Bloomfield Road. Jeremy Bassett led the way. He was 2-4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice for Atlantic City. Roy Aitken got the win, improving to 5-3. He held the Beetlecats to no earned runs on 2 hits over 6 innings, while striking out 5 and walking 3. Chris Burgess converted his 1st save in 3 tries.

Bassett delivered in the top of the third inning for Atlantic City. With the game tied and runners on 1st and 3rd, the first baseman hit a 3-run home run to left.

"We played a good game and came out on top," said Bassett.

Buzzard's Bay now has a 5-game losing streak.
