A 3-RBI performance from Scott McLeish helped the Long Island Ducks beat the Sandy Springs Spartans, 9-6. The winner was Long Island reliever Miguel Hernández, now 4-0. The loser was Wilson Deleón. With the win, the Ducks improved to 25-29.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With one out, McLeish hit a fastball from Wilson Deleón for a 3-run home run. The Ducks, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"It's great when the crowd gets into it," McLeish said.
