Wolverines Get One-Run Win at San Antonio
Starting pitcher Dennis Gates pitched well enough to help the Wichita Wolverines beat the San Antonio Storm Troopers by the score of 7-6. Pedro Galló got credit for the save for Wichita. It was his 13th of the year. Wichita is 24-28 and San Antonio, with the loss, 22-30.

Wichita center fielder Gabriel García helped the Wolverines to the win. In the top of the fifth inning, the 20-year old center fielder stroked a run-scoring double. For the game, García was 1-3 with a double.

"We'll enjoy this win," said García. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
