The DeKalb Cornhuskers easily defeated the New York Ninjas, 14-4, at The Corn Crib, with right fielder Thomaz Quint a main contributor to the win. He went 4-4 with a triple and 2 doubles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 5 for DeKalb. The Ninjas, at 23-28, have lost 4 straight games.

Quint had a key at-bat for DeKalb early in the game. With runners on 1st and 3rd, he hit a 2-run double. It was his 5th double of the season and gave DeKalb an early 2-0 lead.
