San Francisco Bats Go Silent in 2-0 Loss
|
San Francisco wasted a solid 6-inning effort from starting pitcher Josuke Fujihara, losing to South Carolina, 2-0, at Golden Gate Park. Aidan Carrick closed it out for his 8th save. The Bombers go to 23-13, putting them second in the Thurman Munson League Billy Martin Division.
South Carolina took control in the top of the sixth. With one out and the bases empty, Baber Davi hit a solo home run to make it 1-0, Bombers.
"This is truly a great team to play with," Davi said after the game. "We're like brothers, and when we come together to pull out the win, that just makes it all the better."
