Frisco got a terrific game from center fielder Luis Ruíz. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Topeka, 5-4. Ruíz was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He was 3-4 with 3 singles and a walk. The Predators are now 32-19, while the Rams fall to 31-22.

It could have been a different outcome for Topeka, had it not been for Nobuharu Morita, the 23-year old shortstop . Morita contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the eighth inning to put Topeka up, 5-3.

"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Frisco manager Rafael Castillo said following the tough loss.
