Cincinnati got a strong outing from Cisco Núñez as the Snaps defeated the Boise Hawks, 5-2, at Basque Block Field. Earning his 3rd save for Cincinnati was Armando Hernández. With the win, the Snaps have a record of 23-28.
It could have been a different outcome for Cincinnati, had it not been for Wang Huang, the 21-year old third baseman . Huang contributed a 2-run double in the top of the fifth inning to put Cincinnati up, 3-2.
Huang called the win "a collective effort."
