So Cal Bats Go Silent in 3-0 Loss

Masafumi Tamura pitched well, but his team, the So Cal Republic, still dropped a 3-0 decision to the Seattle Sasquatch at Sick's Stadium. Seattle is now 15-25, while So Cal is 19-19.
Kazuyoshi Takahashi struck a blow for the Sasquatch in the bottom of the first when he hit a 2-run home run. It put his team ahead, 2-0. For the game, Takahashi was 1 for 3 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
"I'm proud of the way our guys played today to come out with this win," Takahashi told the Seattle Observer.
