The Frisco Rams dealt the Riverside Red Bulls a 5-3 loss at Outlander Park. Jiro Takahashi was the star on offense. He was 2-4 with a home run, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. The second-place Rams lifted their record to 28-19.
Had Takahashi not come through in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have changed. Instead, with two down, Takahashi hit a 2-run home run. The Rams never looked back after taking the 5-3 lead.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Takahashi told the Frisco Daily News.
