Frisco beat Riverside at Outlander Park, eking out a 6-5 win. The win was due in large part to third baseman Guan-cai Huang, who earned player of the game honors. Callum Butler, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 14th save. The Rams now have a record of 27-18 with the win over Riverside.

Will Kreamer provided some late-game heroics for Frisco. In the bottom of the eighth inning, he hit a run-scoring single. It came on a full count fastball from Lien-ying Mar and propelled Frisco to a 6-5 lead.

"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Huang said after the game.
