Jacksonville rode a good effort from starter Alberto García to beat the Frisco Rams at Outlander Park. The final score was 5-1. The last-place Hellcats now have a win-loss record of 16-28.

Pancho Benavidez had a nice at-bat for the Hellcats with two out in the top of the first. With the bases loaded, the right fielder drew a walk, driving in 1 run, which would prove important in the Jacksonville win.

"It was just a matter of executing," said Jacksonville manager Pete Dellow.
