Hawks Fall to .500 After Loss to Tune-Ups
The Youngstown Tune-Ups downed the Boise Hawks, 4-1, at Joey Naples Memorial Colloseum. William Banks led the way, going 1-for-3 for Youngstown. Youngstown reliever Ron Harris picked up the win, upping his record to 2-1. Hajime Ota shouldered the loss. The Tune-Ups sit in third place in the Cory Lidle League Lou Piniella League with a record of 23-20.

The tide might have turned with two out in the top of the fifth, had not Ron Harris made a big pitch. With runners on 1st and 3rd and the Hawks trailing 3-1, he retired Xun Choe, who struck out.
