Carson City got a terrific performance from catcher Mark Logan, but it wasn't enough to beat the Cincinnati Snaps. Cincinnati won the Cowboys Stadium contest, 7-6. Logan was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He went 3-3 with a double, 2 singles, and 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI. Cincinnati reliever Sergio Rodríguez picked up the win, upping his record to 3-0. Mal Goff took the loss. Bob Torley closed it out for his 2nd save.

Cincinnati pinch hitter Rien van Helvert changed the game in the top of the seventh when he belted a 2-run home run off Shohei Nakayama. His 2nd home run of the season gave Cincinnati a 6-5 lead.

"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said Carson City manager Nobuharu Chikafuji. "The effort was great."

The win puts the Snaps at 18-23, while the Mustang drop to 24-16.
